Required:  Crabbing license $ 10:00 @ Dick’s , BiMart, Fred Meyer  All students must purchase a crabbing license by Friday , November 3rd

Gloves for warmth, gloves for crabbing, hat Change of clothes after crabbing (optional) (will be able to change in rest area after boat trip)

  • 7:00 a.m. Meet at Marist parking lot 
  • 7:15 a.m. Transportation: Marist short bus. Load bus and depart for Newport, Oregon 
  • 9:00 a.m. Estimated arrival in Newport, Oregon 
  • 9:30 a.m. Board the crabbing boat at Newport Tradewinds (653 S.W. Bay Blvd., Newport), and begin crabbing (life jackets will be provided). Boat transportation, crabbing gear, insurance, etc. will be provided by Newport Tradewinds 
  • 1:00-1:15 p.m. Unload boat, cook crab at the Tradewinds 
  • 1:15 p.m. Lunch at Mo’s restaurant. All food will be at the student’s expense. 
  • 2:15 p.m. Depart for Eugene, Oregon 
  • 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Estimated arrival in Eugene, Oregon
